"Gemini"
She is not one, and she is not two. She is the conversation
between them.
In this Art Nouveau styled watercolour, Gemini appears as twin
young women — one gazing straight out at you, present and bold, the other in
profile, lost in thought, already somewhere else. Their hair is swept up like
wind, tied with ribbons that flutter into the air, and there, perched lightly,
are butterflies — breath-made-wing, the purest symbol of Air. Around them birds
tug playfully at the ribbons, as if their very thoughts have taken flight. Rendered
in soft, airy washes of sky blue, cloud white and touches of sun-yellow, the
whole painting seems to breathe.
The Art Nouveau border hums with its element —
abstract dragonflies hovering in the bottom corners, light as ideas, and stars
scattered like sparks of wit across the night.
Those born under Gemini (May 21
- June 20) are the bright, brilliant storytellers of the zodiac — curious,
adaptable, quicksilver clever, and endlessly alive with dual perspective. Ruled
by Mercury, they can hold two truths at once and make them dance.
To own a
print of her is to invite that beautiful duality into your space. A reminder that
you don't have to choose just one version of yourself, that your contradictions
are your wings, and that sometimes the most meaningful thing you can be is
light, curious, and free.
The original painting is A2 in size.
